Tax Clearance Certificates are available on application from all branches of the Land Tax Department at no cost and are valid until the end of the current financial year in which they are issued.

Private individuals may request the Commissioner of Land Tax to assess their property.  The request must be made in writing and should state the purpose for which the valuation is required, e.g. insurance, market value etc.
